Prerequisites:

  • Install the Qualcomm USB driver on Windows.
  • UFI, Easy JTAG, or Medusa Pro.
  • A thin conductor (tweezers, wire)
  • Screwdriver to open the back panel of the phone.

How to Connect ISP to EMMC or UFS repair Box

  • Firstly, Power Off and disassemble the back cover.
  • Then remove the battery, and camera.
  • Locate the eMMC or UFS pinout on the motherboard.
    • Refer to the pinout image above: TxOp, TxOn, RxOp, and RxOn pins.
  • Run UFI box or EMMC box and its ISP adapter.
  • Use jumper wires to connect the four pins – TxOp, TxOn, RxOp, and RxOn.
  • Connect the USB cable to power the VCC and VCCQ lines.
  • Insert the adapter into the UFI box.
  • Reconnect the battery to the PCB.
  • Now use your EMMC tool software to read or write UFS memory.
